Woman accused of tossing kittens from vehicle, police say

BROOKHAVEN, GA — A woman is facing animal cruelty charges after Brookhaven police say she threw kittens from her vehicle.

Police say a witness reported seeing Valentina Tobon Henao throw the kittens from a Toyota Sienna while driving on Osborne Road toward Peachtree Road.

Officers responded to the area of Osborne and Peachtree roads, where they found one dead kitten in the roadway near the 2700 block of Osborne Road.

Investigators say the witness provided the vehicle’s license plate number and a description of the driver, allowing officers to track down the minivan.

Police arrested Valentina Tobon Henao at a nearby business. She is charged with animal cruelty.
