ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating two shootings near each other in southeast Atlanta.

Cpt. Germaine Deerlove says an elderly woman was caught in the crossfire of a shooting.

The first shooting happened off Browns Mill Road.

Police later responded to another shooting nearby off Lindsey Drive.

The victims were rushed to the hospital. Their identities and current conditions are unknown.
