DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Martin Luther King Jr. High School near Stonecrest is on a precautionary lockdown while district police investigate a reported potential threat.

The DeKalb County School District says the investigation has determined the threat is unfounded.

The matter remains under investigation.

Students and staff are safe, according to the district.
