Innocent driver, former reality TV star killed in fiery wrong-way crash on Ga. 400

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies say two men were killed in a fiery crash when a man drove over 100 mph in the wrong direction on Georgia 400 over the weekend.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 1:27 a.m. Sunday between Shiloh and Majors roads. The 911 center got several calls about a wrong-way driver, but weren’t able to intercept him before the crash.

Deputies said Silas Brown, 35, was driving a black Alfa Romeo Stelvio traveling southbound in the northbound lanes. Brown was driving over 100 mph, deputies said.

Brown hit a silver Lexus IS250 driven by Tarik Kindell, 22. The cars burst into flames. Both men were killed, deputies said.

The crash closed the highway for several hours Sunday morning.

Brown was identified by dozens of friends on social media as one of the stars of BET’s “Ink, Paper, Scissors,” which aired in 2016. The show focused on a group of celebrity stylists and tattoo artists. Channel 2 Action News is working to independently confirm the identity of the victims.
