Police convinced alleged attackers in a home invasion to release four people from a Clayton County home Saturday night.

The alleged home invasion in the 5300 block of Lacey Avenue ended with two people in police custody, Clayton police spokeswoman Sgt. Ashanti Marbury said.

Few details were available Sunday morning, but officers talked the suspects into letting the victims go — then, arrested the suspects, Channel 2 Action News reported.

One of the people from the house was taken to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and another person was treated on the scene by Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services.

The names of all involved are being withheld at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
