COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County police are investigating a four-vehicle crash on I-285 that left one person dead Saturday night.

Police say a 2006 black Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound when one of its tires failed, leaving the truck disabled and leading to a collision involving three other vehicles.

The crash involved a 2024 Hyundai Tucson, a 2017 Jeep Patriot and a 2013 Honda Civic.

A passenger in the Hyundai Tucson died at the scene.

The driver of the Honda Civic suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
