ATLANTA — A popular Atlanta music festival is taking a hiatus in 2027.

Porchfest organizers announced the popular music festival in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland neighborhood is taking a break in 2027.

Organizers say the festival has grown so massive that it needs additional support and structure to continue running safely and smoothly.

The event is known for turning front porches into live music stages throughout Virginia Highland.

The festival will return in 2028, organizers added.
