A north Georgia man will spend the next 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of child molestation.
In 2015, officers were made aware of an incident that had occurred involving Bobby Ray Reaves Sr., now 33, of Dalton but did not have sufficient evidence to charge him.

Investigators say that in 2019 a second victim involved in a separate incident came forward.
Details around the assaults are limited at this time, but investigators have confirmed that Reaves was breaking bond requirements and was wearing an ankle monitor that prohibited him from being near children at the time of the attacks.
Reaves was sentenced to 12 years in prison followed by 8 years on probation on one case, and 12 years in prison followed by one year probation on the other. Both sentences are to be served concurrently, meaning he will serve them at the same time.

Child molestation carries a maximum penalty of 20 years confinement.
Investigators said Reaves had no previous record before his 2019 arrests in connection to these cases.
