ATLANTA — Horizon Organic Dairy is recalling more than 53,000 cases of its chocolate milk over concerns that the product could spoil.

According to the FDA, the recall follows customer complaints about packages that appeared “bloated.”

The company warned that the affected milk may spoil early and could have an unpleasant taste, odor or texture.

The recall includes some 12- and 18-packs of Horizon Organic chocolate milk with a best-by date in January 2027.
