ATLANTA — A major law enforcement operation targeting massage businesses across metro Atlanta has led to six arrests and the identification of nine potential human trafficking victims, according to Peachtree City police.

About 100 law enforcement officers executed search warrants at nine locations, including businesses in Atlanta, Peachtree City and Tyrone, police said.

Peachtree city police officials worked with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and several metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies to arrest six people. The suspects were identified as Yuhan Zhang, Yang Wu, Haoran Zou, Charles Shetterly, Yuhong Wei, and Anthony Ramsey.

“Investigators also seized more than $400,000 in U.S. currency and eight vehicles believed to be associated with the alleged criminal enterprise. Bank accounts associated with the investigation were frozen through legal process,” Peachtree City police said.

The six suspects are facing charges under Georgia’s RICO Act, along with pimping and prostitution-related charges, according to police.

Investigators also identified nine potential human trafficking victims during the operation.

Peachtree City police said the investigation remains active, and additional arrests and charges are possible.
