DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A metro Atlanta man has been sentenced to serve life in prison after pleading guilty in a cold case rape dating back more than three decades.
The DeKalb County District Attorney said Moses Robinson, 67, of Decatur, is accused of rapping a 26-year-old woman in her apartment 36 years ago.
Investigators used DNA to link Robinson to the victim.
DeKalb County police were able to connect with the victim in 2024 and confirmed she wanted to move forward with prosecution, officials said.
Robinson was taken into custody in August of 2025.
