ATLANTA — Republican Congressman Barry Loudermilk says he will not seek re-election at the end of his current term.

Loudermilk’s district includes several northern suburbs in metro Atlanta.

He said after six terms, he believes it is time to contribute to his community, state, and nation in other ways.
