ATLANTA — A memorial scholarship fund has been established in honor of Robert Strang, the 20-year-old Ole Miss student from Atlanta who died last week.
The Robert Strang Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to Ole Miss Phi Delta Theta students in need.
The scholarship will support a student who demonstrates loyal friendship, kindness, generosity and a joyful love for life.
Strang was a junior at Ole Miss and graduated from North Atlanta High School.
He was one of two Ole Miss students who died in separate locations. Investigators are looking into whether kratom, a controversial herbal supplement, may have played a role in either death.
Toxicology test results are expected to take several weeks.
