GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A 22-year old man was arrested after an innocent bystander was hit by gunfire outside a Mall of Georgia business.
Gwinnett County Police say Jalyn Watkins appeared to be intoxicated when he fired one shot into the ground, causing shrapnel to hit a 25-year old man in the back.
The current condition of the victim is unknown, however, police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say they used Flock cameras to track down Watkins. He was taken into custody hours after the shooting.
Watkins faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault.
