ATLANTA — Several local groups plan to gather at Atlanta City Hall on Tuesday as they push Atlanta-based Flock Safety to end its cooperation with federal immigration agents and ICE.

The planned gathering is the latest pressure campaign against the surveillance company following reports of law enforcement agencies around the country using the devices for non-police purposes.

Many advocates want the traffic cameras removed or want residents to have a say in whether the devices should be installed.

Law enforcement groups say Flock devices have become critical tools in helping solve crimes.
