ATLANTA — Metro Atlanta drivers should prepare for another full closure of the Westside Perimeter this weekend.
Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation says it will shut down all lanes north and southbound on I-285 between Cascade Road and Langford Parkway.
The closure begins Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. GDOT officials say the lanes will reopen by Monday at 5 a.m.
GDOT officials say these scheduled closures continue the ongoing I-285 Westside Rebuild Project, which is scheduled for completion in 2029.
During the planned full closure of the Westside Perimeter, drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes.
