HALL COUNTY, GA — Hall County residents can once again burn for land clearing purposes as the countywide burn ban ends Thursday October 1.
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division’s annual summer burn ban ends at the close of September. The seasonal ban is intended to decrease ozone pollution during the hotter months.
Residents who plan to burn for land clearing purposes are required to have the proper permit.
Residential burn permits are available through the Hall County website under Fire Services.
