Georgia voters can now request absentee ballots for November midterms

Absentee ballots are already being prepped ahead of Election Day, Georgia’s secretary of state says

Georgia voters can begin submitting applications Monday, Aug. 17, to vote by absentee ballot in the November midterm elections.

Voters can request an absentee ballot from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office by submitting an application online, by email, mail, fax or in person.

Voters are encouraged to request and return their absentee ballots early to allow enough time for ballots to travel through the mail and for any issues that may arise during the absentee voting process to be resolved.

Mail ballot voting for the November midterms ends Oct. 23.
