GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Buford man accused of impersonating a public officer after an encounter with another man in Gwinnett County faces charges.
Police say 37-year-old Jason Webb tailed a driver and pulled in behind the driver at a gas station on Braselton Highway.
Officer Brock Marks says Webb told the man he was a Suwanee police officer and asked the driver for his ID.
“We are unsure whether or not he was under the influence of some kind of alcoholic beverage or some kind of narcotics or if he had some sort of mental health condition,” Marks said. “He had been searching or looking for in his worst, was not of Christ.”
Webb is also charged with public indecency for mooning the driver to show him he wasn’t carrying a gun.
