CANTON, GA — A U.S. Army lieutenant killed in an Iranian attack in the Middle East will be remembered Friday with a public procession and burial in metro Atlanta.

Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, will be buried with full military honors at the Georgia National Cemetery.

Feehan was killed last month after an Iranian attack on an air base in Jordan. He was stationed at the base at the time of the attack.

His family is inviting the public to honor him by lining Marietta Highway near Williamson Brothers Bar-B-Q for the funeral procession. People are asked to begin lining the route around 11 a.m.

Feehan was from Hawaii but lived in Georgia.

His family described him as “a son beyond measure, a devoted fiancé and an exceptional officer.”
