EAST POINT, GA — A former metro Atlanta area police officer has been found guilty of sexually assaulting women while on duty.

On Tuesday, a Fulton County jury reached a guilty verdict on all five counts in Richard Gooddine’s retrial.

Goodine was a former East Point police officer.

One of the victims was a 15-year old girl, officials said.

Prosecutors previously said Gooddine was accused of assaulting women and children while searching them or gaining their trust.

Jurors began their deliberations on Tuesday morning.
