DEKALB COUNTY, GA — No one was injured after a fire broke out at an apartment complex off North Hairston Road in DeKalb County.

Fire crews were called to the complex after a resident first tried to put out flames on the outside of the building.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, which caused minor damage to the outside of the building and inside one apartment unit.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
