FBI increases reward for information on kidnapping suspect in Atlanta

ATLANTA — The FBI is offering $20,000 as a reward for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect in Atlanta.

A federal judge issued an arrest warrant for Julious George Khalid last month, charging him with kidnapping.

FBI officials say is wanted for a kidnapping and extortion case in August.

According to FBI officials, Khalid and others are accused of portraying themselves as officers and stopping someone at gunpoint on I-20 near Panola Road before extorting a large amount of money from the victim.

The victim was later released, officials add.
