Driver arrested after 2 kilograms of cocaine mixed with fentanyl found during traffic stop

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A traffic stop in Stonecrest led to the seizure of two kilograms of cocaine mixed with fentanyl and the arrest of a driver as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Members of the DeKalb County Drug Task Force pulled the vehicle over near Browns Mill Road and Klondike Road.

Officers found two kilograms of cocaine mixed with fentanyl and a firearm inside the vehicle.

The driver was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including trafficking cocaine and fentanyl.

Officials have not released the suspect’s name or age.

No injuries were reported during the traffic stop.
