DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Dozens of people have been arrested and face charges after a two-day operation targeting many suspects across the metro Atlanta area.
Officials say the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office collaborated with local, state and federal law enforcement officers on the two-day operation to locate and apprehend people with outstanding criminal warrants.
Nearly 50 people were arrested during the operation, officials said.
Among those arrested included individuals wanted on charges of aggravated child molestation and murder.
More than 75 law enforcement officers from 15 different agencies participated in the operation.
More than 400 warrant attempts were conducted, officials add.
