DEKALB COUNTY, GA — DeKalb County police are investigating a deadly shooting near the 900 block of Redan Trail on Friday.

Police say a man died after he was shot multiple times. He was identified as 32-year-old Shaquille Smalls.

Police said 26-year-old Deshawn Brown has been arrested and charged with murder.

Investigators said the two exchanged words before Brown allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Smalls.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
