COBB COUNTY, GA — An investigation is underway after a crash shutdown I-20 westbound in metro Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities responded to the area on I-20 just past Riverside Parkway. The crash shut down all westbound lanes.

Triple Team Traffic suggested motorists to use Highway 78 as an alternate route. It is unclear how long it will take for lanes to reopen to traffic.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

It is unclear if any injuries were reported.
