ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves’ postseason run has come to an end following a 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Division Series at Truist Park.
Despite a strong start, the Braves struggled to maintain momentum as the game continued, leaving fans disappointed as they exited the ballpark.
“I came all the way from Winston, North Carolina just to watch us lose,” one fan said.
Several fans expressed frustration with the team’s postseason performance, with some comparing the loss to previous seasons.
“It’s so disappointing, I don’t know why we do this in the post season when we killed them in the regular season,” another fan said.
For longtime supporters, the loss was especially difficult.
“I’m a die hard Braves fan, I’ve been a Braves fan all my life; 50 years, and it’s a sad moment,” one fan said.
Others pointed to the expectations surrounding the team heading into the playoffs.
“It’s just hard when you have high expectations and then they don’t play to their ability,” another fan said.
Despite the disappointing finish, some fans remained optimistic about the team’s future.
“I’ll always be a strong Braves fan, win or lose. Just a lot of losing. They still had a great year,” one fan said.
Others were already looking ahead to the next season.
“Keep your heads up and we’ll be back next year. Go Braves!” another fan said.
