SMYRNA, GA — An investigation is underway after the body of a female was found at a metro Atlanta apartment complex on Wednesday evening.

Smyrna police responded to a missing person call at the Park Valley Apartments located at the 4000 block of Valley Parkway around 8:15 p.m.

Police officials say during the course of the investigation, the body of a female was discovered.

Officials say Kingston Bradley, 18, of Smyrna, was charged in connection with the investigation.

The identity of the victim was not released, Smyrna police officials said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
