ATLANTA — Thousands gathered at the Atlanta University Center Thursday evening for a solidarity march honoring Nolan Wells.

Wells was found dead shortly after the Fourth of July following an outing with friends on Mississippi’s Horn Island.

Students from Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College, along with members of the NAACP, organized the march.

Those attending chanted “Justice for Nolan Wells” and said Wells’ name will not be forgotten.

No one has been arrested in connection with Wells’ death.
