RANDOLPH COUNTY, AL — One of Atlanta’s most wanted fugitives is behind bars after a seven-year search.

Police in Roanoke, Alabama, arrested 29-year-old Ashton Reed, who was wanted on warrants out of Atlanta for murder.

Reed had been wanted since a 2019 shooting at a party that left one man dead and five others injured.

Police say Reed was using a fake name and working at a livestock auction when he was arrested.

Reed is being held in the Randolph County, Alabama, jail while awaiting an extradition hearing.

He is expected to be brought back to Atlanta to face charges, including murder.
