ATLANTA — Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines has been named the best airline in the United States in a new ranking from Forbes.

The publication highlighted Delta’s service to more than 300 destinations, along with its focus on customer satisfaction and on-time arrivals.

Delta also earned top honors for its business class service and loyalty program.

The Forbes ranking also recognized the best airports in the United States and internationally.

New York’s LaGuardia Airport was named the best U.S. airport for the third consecutive year, with Forbes highlighting its modern design and upscale dining options.

Singapore’s airport earned the top spot in the international airport category.
