FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Residents are under a shelter-in-place order during an armed standoff in Forsyth County.

Authorities said an armed suspect is involved in a standoff with police near Johnson Road and Barrett Downs Drive.

Kelly Mill Road has been closed because of the heavy police presence in the area.
