COBB COUNTY, GA — Two employees were hospitalized after a fire in the kitchen of a Cobb County supermarket.

Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services officials says the fire started in a kitchen at the business on Mableton Parkway.

Employees attempted to put of the flames, but couldn’t.

Two employees suffered smoke-related injuries. Two firefighters also had to be treated for heat and exertion injuries.

The fire was later extinguished by fire crews.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
