ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a 18-year-old was shot in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to the area of 222 Tuskegee St. SE around 4:15 p.m. after reports of a shooting.

Upon arriving, officers located the victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital. His identity and current extent of his injuries are unknown.

The investigation remains ongoing.
