Head of national intelligence to leave mid-August

President Trump confirmed late Sunday afternoon that Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats will be leaving that job on August 15th.

Mr. Trump also indicated his intention to nominate a replacement - Texas Republican congressman John Ratcliffe.
