Police in Woodstock arrest 2 men caught on camera vandalizing parking deck

WOODSTOCK, GA — Two men are facing multiple charges following a vandalism incident involving mini motorbikes in downtown Woodstock.

According to Woodstock police spokesperson Stacey Brown, the men were caught on camera performing a burnout inside an elevator at the City Center East Parking Deck. Brown says the burnout caused significant damage. “That burnout went through the ADA flooring and into the subfloor of the elevator,” she said.

Police say the men also allegedly rode their mini bikes through the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, which was crowded with holiday shoppers at the time. Authorities say that action created a dangerous situation for pedestrians inside the shopping plaza.

Investigators identified the suspects as 33-year-old Anthony DeHaselare and 27-year-old Carson Rhoden-We Both were booked into the Cherokee County Jail and are now charged with two felonies and three misdemeanors.

Woodstock police say the investigation stemmed from surveillance video and footage previously shared on the department’s social media pages showing damage to the elevator area.
