More rain than anything else for Metro Atlanta Saturday PM

Any brief mix of rain/snow/sleet Northside not expected to last or matter

The mountains are the main target for accumulation of snow/sleet late Saturday afternoon and overnight into early Sunday. For the Metro Atlanta area the predominant precipitation type is expected to be rain.

Any brief mix or changeover with snow or sleet mainly North of the perimeter by evening not expected to last or have any significant impact for MOST of the region before change back to rain, ending in most areas by sunrise Sunday.

SATURDAY PM FORECAST SURFACE CHART:

As is often the case there are models that show zero snow or sleet for Atlanta and some that show a lot.
