The “mean” or average temperature is the product of both highs and lows added and divided over a given period of time.

Here’s the pattern shaping up over the long-haul:

Brief cool snap 2-day average

5-day temp average

7-day temp average

4-5 day average rebound

Days 12-14 average

35-Day average temps

16-Day rainfall average departure from normal

So the yo-yo temperature pattern continues the next 30+ days while the next 7+ days look drier than normal.
