There is lots of roadwork planned this weekend along GA-400 & I-285 for the Transform I-285/GA-400 project, as well as on GA-400 inside I-285 for paving.
Expect multiple lane closures throughout the weekend. Construction will also be active on I-285 both ways on the west side of town between I-75 and I-85 in Cobb and Fulton Counties.
Plus, lane restrictions are planned all weekend on I-85/southbound past GA-400 in Northeast Atlanta. WSB will have live traffic updates all weekend to guide you around the delays. As always, please drive safely and remember to use caution in these work zones to keep workers safe.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION ZONES
- Sandy Springs/Dunwoody: Alternating right land left lane closures on GA-400/northbound/southbound between Northridge (Exit 6) and I-285. Traffic will be paced at times for this and right lane closures on I-285/eastbound/westbound (Inner & Outer Loops) between Northside Dr (Exit 22) and Ashford Dunwoody Rd (Exit 29). Expect full road closures and ramp restrictions on Glenridge Dr, Peachtree Dunwoody Rd and Roswell Rd accessing I-285 in either direction.
- Sandy Springs/Buckhead: 1 to 2 right or left lanes will be blocked on GA-400/northbound/southbound between I-285 and I-85 for paving all weekend. Single lane closures become double lane closures during overnight hours. This will also impact the I-85/northbound/southbound ramps to GA-400/northbound.
- Cobb Co: South Marietta Pkwy bridge over I-75 closed from 9pm – 4:30am all weekend.
- Cobb Co: 1 right lane closed Barrett Pkwy/eastbound/westbound at I-75 from 9pm – 5am.
- Cobb Co: 2 left lanes closed on I-285/northbound (Inner Loop) from South Cobb Dr (Exit 15) to Paces Ferry Rd (Exit 18) from 9pm Friday – 10am Saturday and on Sunday from 9am – 9pm.
- Fulton Co: 2 right lanes closed on I-285/northbound (Inner Loop) from MLK Jr Drive (Exit 9) to I-20 (Exit 10) from 9pm – 5am.
- Fulton Co: 2 left lanes closed on I-285/southbound (Outer Loop) from Hwy 166 (Exit 5) to Washington Rd (Exit 1) from 9pm Friday – 10am Saturday.
- Fulton Co: 2 left lanes closed on I285/westbound/northbound (Inner Loop) from Old National Hwy (Exit 62) to Washington Rd (Exit 1) on Sunday from 9am – 9pm.
- Fulton Co: Left lane of the ramp from Hwy 166/westbound to I-285/southbound (Outer Loop) closed throughout the weekend.
- Northeast Atlanta: 3 left lanes closed on I-85/southbound between GA-400 and 17th St from 9am – 9pm all weekend.
- Alpharetta: 1 left lane closed on Old Milton Pkwy from Alpharetta Hwy to Westside Pkwy from 9am to 4pm.
- Atlanta: Northside Dr closed between 10th St and Ethel St for building construction.
