Sydney Chambley leading Georgia charge into Florida State Super Regional

ATHENS — Sunday’s NCAA Regional victory was sweet for the Georgia softball program, but especially junior Sydney Chambley.

Chambley, who attended Mount Saran Christian School in Kennesaw, was essentially the most valuable player in the four-team event, blasting four home runs with 13 RBI.

“It was just being determined and figuring things out,” said Chambley, who was 7-for-9 hitting over the three-game weekend. “The process of stepping up to the plate and getting the job done was our mindset.”
