UGA spring practice dates set

Athens, Ga - Your long wait between the end of the colege football season and spring practice is now a bit more clear.

The University of Georgia announced its spring football practice schedule this morning, with a start date of March 15th. That's one week after UGA students return to Athens from spring break, which in the past the Bulldogs have been known to begin a couple days before spring break to allow for extra coaches meetings.

G-Day will be April 16th at 4 p.m., as previously announced, making up the final practice of the spring. In the final years of the Mark Richt regime, Georgia scheduled a couple practices after the intrasquad scrimmage to assess and address issues in the game. Not the case this year.
