Do you know your driving rules?

Nearly half of licensed drivers struggle to remember the rules of the road.

The website, Carinsurance.com surveyed 500 drivers with questions pulled from state drivers' license practice tests.  44 percent could not achieve an 80 percent passing score.  The most commonly missed questions covered when to stop for pedestrians and school buses.

Breaking it down by gender and age, women outscore men and older drivers score higher than younger ones.

On the actual written test, Missouri posted the highest fail rate of 61 percent.  Mississippi was close behind with a 60 percent failure rate.
