New study shows more senior drivers admit to driving while high

New data shows 20% of older drivers admit to driving while high on marijuana.

Researchers reported findings in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence that show 20% of those 50 and older went behind the wheel at least once in the last year while high.

The study involved a survey of more than 3,300 people.

The lead researcher says there’s been a lot of effort to reduce driving while high among young people, but these findings show it is a cross generational issue.
