American children raking in the allowance dough, new survey finds

It pays to be a kid these days.

A new survey finds the average American child is raking in about $52 per month in allowance.

Adjusted for inflation, that’s about $36 more than what their parents received when they were kids.

The average parent believes keeping your room clean deserves $10 while getting an “A” on a report card is worth at least $13.

The Tooth Fairy is also now doling out about $9 per tooth.
