New York State Police said the county waste truck became stuck around 4:15 a.m. causing a closure to all lanes and the shoulder near Exit 3 of Interstate 787, WNYT reported.

Crews using a crane worked to get the truck back on the road.

The driver was trapped in the truck for some time, but was able to get out. He was uninjured.

It is unclear what caused the truck to crash.
