“Hamilton” playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda is the latest star to join a prime time television special celebrating the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.
Miranda, who wrote and starred in the musical, will appear for a classical recitation for the “Celebrating America” special.
He joins musicians John Legend, Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi as performers. Actors Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria will act as hosts and former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is also expected to appear.
