Most Georgians support immigration reform

A new poll shows that more than half of Georgians support Immigration Reform.

According to Harper Polling, 61-percent of those polled support the plan, 20-percent oppose it and 19-percent are unsure.

Pollsters also asked 562 people if they support or oppose a plan that would ensure undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. have to pay a penalty, learn English, pay taxes and wait a minimum of 13 years before they are eligible for citizenship.

Those in support of the plan were 78-percent, 15-percent oppose it and seven-percent say they aren't sure.
