Source: Usher's stepson died of heart failure

A family friend says singer Usher Raymond's stepson, injured during a boating accident earlier this month, has died.

The source tells Channel 2 Action News Kile Glover died of heart failure.

Glover was injured on Lake Lanier July 6 when he and a 15-year-old girl were run over by a man on a personal watercraft near Holiday Marina. Glover suffered a serious brain injury, and was unresponsive when pulled from the water around 3:30 p.m.

Earlier reports said Glover had been taken off life support, but the source now says he died of heart failure.

Glover is the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
