Social media helps solve cold case

A Facebook post by Rome police helped crack a cold case murder out of state.

Columbus, Ohio police thought their main suspect in a 1987 murder was living in north Georgia.  Detectives reached out to Rome police who posted 49-year-old Zina Roberson's picture on Facebook Thursday morning.  Within an hour, they had an address.

Roberson is now being held at the Floyd County jail, awaiting extradition to Ohio on aggravated murder charges.

26 years later, her days on the run are over.

She allegedly killed 77-year-old Anna Mae Florence in June, 1987, stabbing her multiple times during a robbery.  Florence's brother-in-law spotted her running from the apartment.
